Slumber party, part 2

Hmmm, evidently I posted that last post when I was trying to save it as a draft. Oh, well. It was getting pretty long anyway. Here are the couple of activities I hadn't added yet when it posted :) Keegan's slumber party, part 2!!!!

First, we tie dyed t-shirts (with raincoats to protect their clothes)

The shirts turned out really cute! If the colors stay this bright, I'll be a walking ad for Tulip brand tie dye :-)

Accordion style folding

Kelsey is so happy with her shirt. It shows :-).

Bull's eye pattern

I hadn't tie dyed anything in years. It was a whole lot of fun and the girls seemed to really like it. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a party activity. In fact, Caitlyn is considering doing the same thing for her 13th birthday in November (UGH! I am blocking that from my mind. Nine is difficult enough for me to deal with! The throw in the fact that Kelsey is getting waaaay more independent... Aaaaaaaack! My babies are outgrowing me!!!!!!!!!)

And marble pattern

The girls also made things with pipe cleaners (no pictures - I know you are shocked) and drew faces on balloons that I had glued eye on to. Those all turned out really cute, too. And it was fun to see the different personalities the girls gave their balloons! I love seeing kids' creativity!!!!

I guess that's it for party pictures. See you next time :-)
