Caitlyn with Dante, one of the professional dancers. We love Dante. He has GREAT facial expressions and is so funny. Caitlyn also appreciated his specific feedback and advice. "Don't look down!" was one of his favorites.

Caitlyn had to change from the face on the left, with a little, wistful smile, to the face on the right, with a pouty lip. I did NOT help at rehearsal as I couldn't help laughing every time she poked out her lip.

Finally

Hello, everyone.


Well, I am finally going to try to catch up on my blogging ;-)

As that will naturally involve many pictures, I'll break it up into a few posts.


Here are some ballet rehearsal pictures.

Keegan never minds hanging around the studio as long as she can play with Sophia.

A finger turn in ballet is a tricky thing. You would think that if a dancer can turn independently, it would be easier to do a finger turn with a partner. But apparently it is just the opposite (I don't have any personal experience in this area :-). So, Caitlyn had a finger turn in this show. She and David worked really hard on this move, and eventually, they got it!
