FFF - Silly

I haven't been keeping up with FFF (obviously), but am trying to get back into it. This week's theme is "silly." I've got that one covered!

Bill brought home someone's no-longer-needed stroller one day, and Kelsey and Keegan love it more than any toy. Usually they use it for dolls, but not this day...

I don't get too many silly pictures of Caitlyn, so this one will have to suffice.
Who wants a plain old smiling picture of their beautiful daughters all dressed up for church, anyway?

And finally, smile, everyone!

More Almost Wordless Wednesday

Aren't they cute? I certainly think so ;-)!

Almost Wordless Wednesday

Kelsey is on your right.

Caitlyn is part of a group at our church that does contemporary worship - skits, dances, and sign language are all part of their repertoire. This weekend we got to watch the service they will be performing at area churches over the next few weeks. It was really neat and we are looking forward to seeing it again soon!
I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb

Take the Shackles off my feet so I can dance...

The Story of the Three Trees
Caitlyn is a ship builder.
In the end, the pine tree fulfills its dream by pointing people toward God.

Caitlyn is under there, ready for... this! They used black lights so the gloves glowed during the song. Very cool.

Keegan Quote

Me: Girls, you will be thrilled to know we are going to do some laundry later.
Keegan: Mommy, thank you very much for the invitation, but I will not be available to do laundry.

Rules, part 2

The day after Kelsey made all of those rules for Bill, she decided to wake him up by throwing stuffed animals at him :-). When he reached out to grab her foot she said, "WAIT! Wait. Same rules as yesterday!"

Since the park...

Pitiful, aren't they?
Since we went to the park, we have been wrestling with a yucky, icky, nasty virus. Being the generous folks we are, we have shared it among ourselves all week. But now, I think we have it defeated! Today we are going to live like real people again. See our friends and everything. Yea! Yippee! Woo, hoo!

A Day at the Park

Taking advantage of this gorgeous weather, we spent a day at the park with some of our favorite friends. The mom is one of my best friends and all the kids get along well together, with the older daughter being one of Caitlyn's closest friends. The only problem is that when the grown-ups are talking (which I REALLY try to do!), we keep being interrupted with requests of, "Will you please make another play date????" Apparently adult phone conversations don't do much for children's socialization needs ;-).

love this Kelsey pic!

FFF

The FFF theme or this week is LOVE. I chose this picture because only a Daddy who really loves his girls would spend his time playing Pretty, Pretty Princess! :-)

Rules

This morning Kelsey decided to try to roll Bill out of bed and wrestle with him. But my girl is smart. She wanted to make sure he understood the rules. They included:

No poking.
No tickling.
No zerberting.
No head butting.
No pillow whopping.
No anything whopping.
No spanking.
No piggy-ing (doing "this little piggy...")
No grabbing.
No pulling.
No writing on the foot.

She was so funny! Any time Bill started to do anything, she would make up a rule that that wasn't allowed. And the rules ONLY applied to Bill. NOT to Kelsey, of course ;-). Only 6 years old and already so smart!

More stealing of other people's ballet pictures!!!

Here is Kelsey's SPECIAL PART! She is the little mouse with the startled face. She was trying to push down Reepicheep's (the one on the ground) arms and legs, but they kept popping back up until she ran away crying. She was totally adorable, if I do say so myself :-).

Come, follow Aslan with me.

I just love this last picture. It is one of the ones the photographer took. I'm not sure what it is about it, but I keep coming back to look at it. I love how she is looking at Aslan, gazing up into his face. I guess I can't explain it. But I LOVE this pic!

Stealing other people's ballet pictures!!! :-)

The beginning pose - but Lucy doesn't want to go to boarding schoolWhat's happening? Getting pulled into NarniaThe White Witch, ready to slay Aslan. Boy was she in for a surprise!
The girl who played the White Witch is SO sweet, but she has the scary look mastered here! This picture doesn't show it, but her make-up was great. Her face was white and glittery, like ice.

My daughter. She gets it from her momma. hahahahahahahahahahahaHA!

The final pose - the kids back at the railway station, Narnia in the background.
Lucy and Susan in their boarding school uniforms. Aren't they sweet?

Mr. Tumnus with the fauns. Keegan is front, right. Their horns and make-up were so cute!

Bill Quote

After being "it," playing tag with Keegan and Kelsey, "It's unbelievable how many things can be base."

This 'n that :-)

The silhouettes are lobby decorations from the ballet. We got to bring them home and put them on Caitlyn's wall.
The rose bloom is just beautiful in person.
Kelsey's self-applied make-up.
And a worn out Keegan, keeping her head warm ;-).
