FFF - Memories

FFF on Saturday again, but at least I am getting it up :-). The theme this week is memories. A very nice friend loaned me a scanner, so I get to post some old pics - fun! I enjoy my young ladies so much, but I sure do miss these little girls, too!

2005

Keegan is dressed as her puppy, Sweetie. She is wearing her collar and tag.
I thought that for the rest, instead of labeling each picture, I would tell who they are at the bottom of the post.

They are - Caitlyn (6 months) in the blue outfit and bib; Keegan (2 months) with the sweet smile; Kelsey in the yellow hat and Dalmatian jacket; Keegan (6 months) in the pink ice cream pajamas; Kelsey (looking a lot like a small Caitlyn) in the purplish-blue footie pj's; and finally - the more things change, the more they stay the same - Caitlyn doing ballet

Soapy super slip and slide

Last year I was caught without a camera, but not this year! The girls and I went to an awesome birthday party with the greatest slip and slide in the world. The family uses a huge roll of industrial strength plastic on their giant hill. The kids have a blast on it! The pants are to prevnts grass burns as the kis go flying off the slide ;-)!

Keegan and the birthday girl

Dish washing detergent helps the kids really go!
And produces lots of bubbles, too ;-)

This shows maybe 2/3 of the slide.

Look at Kelsey's bubbly legs :-)!

So, so fun!!!!!

Soccer pictures, are you excited? I am!!!

Sweet soccer girls. Handy for us, they were on the same team.
Kelsey's eyes are closed, that explains a lot - haha.Kelsey improved throughout the season. Kick it, Kelsey!

Still loving my new camera. Just in case you wondered.

New Camera, new camera!!!!!!

Ooooo, oooo, ooooo. So very excited!!!!

These are also known as "cute pictures of my kids playing baseball with their Daddy," but most importantly known as "me trying out my new camera!"

I think I'm gonna' love it!

Good thing I just bought a bunch of external memory for my computer :-).
OK, this is actually our Ralph dog. For anyone who's still around through all these pics, this picture is here so you can oh and ah about how clear and crisp it is. See how each blade of grass shows...

Well, here I am with terrible news - my camera has died. Kaplooey, kaput. The good news is I am shopping for a new and better one :-). If you have any suggestions, please leave them for me. I am still in the information-gathering stage.

As a result, I obviously don't have many pictures to post :(.
Hope no one suffers from withdrawal (I am.)

But I used Caitlyn's camera to take a couple of a partnering class she is taking. I have to say, using her camera makes me appreciate mine more. None of the pictures really turned out well, but I'm posting a few anyway, so I can brag about them.

Caitlyn is getting to take a partnering class at dance and she really likes it. The boy she usually partners with is so good (and strong :-), so it works out well.
This last week, they worked on a move where the girl laid on her back over the guy's shoulder. it was a little nerve-racking, a I could just imagine her keeping on going all the way to the floor, but they handled it without any problems.
If you saw Caspian, this is the lift the older boy and girl did at the very end, back at the train station. (I'm sure you all remember. It is the focus of our lives, surely it is yours, too ;-)

We went to field day not long ago. It is so fun and really well organized. Caitlyn's favorite race was hopping on one foot, Keegan's was running, and Kelsey liked everything. Kelsey graduated this year to being on a team by herself, without needing one of her sisters. Go Kelse! My favorite to watch is still run across the gym, spin with a bat on your head several times, then run back. It's hilarious.

Keegan got accepted into a drama program at a nearby college. She is pumped and I am so happy for her. It is run by the incredible lady who directed Wizard of Oz, so I know it will be super. They'll meet once a week next school year.

Soccer is moving right along. Only 3 games left, then a tournament. Keegan and Kelsey have improved all season. We were blessed with really good coaches.

Dance is almost done for the year (!!!!!). Just a little more than a week until the year-end recital. Hard to believe.

I'm planning to slow things down quite a bit for the summer. I'm thinking a lot of reading, swimming, and staying at home. I'll let you know how I do with that.

Last but not least, a couple of quotes -
Keegan, at a play, "That sound is the curtains opening. I recognize it because I have been on stage a lot."
lol

Kelsey, so shocked and dramatic, as her men got jumped, playing checkers, "This can't be happening!"

FFF - Run

The theme for this week is "run," and what I have learned is that apparently my children don't run without a reason and don't run a whole lot at all :-).
Keegan, Spring 2008
Caitlyn @ Field Day 2008
Kelsey, September 2007, age 5
Have I mentioned she is SEVEN now???
They're just so cute ;-)!
Have a great weekend!!!
