Keegan's team had their first soccer game not long ago. They played so well. All their practices really payed off. They stayed in position and passed to each other, showing real teamwork. Keegan usually plays defence. It is hard to get past her, too! Dontcha' love the white and green socks?

Kelsey quote
I was working with Keegan to improve her speed on simple multiplication problems with several zeros, orally giving her problems like 20x40, and 300x 40. When I asked 50x10, Kelsey piped up, "500!"
Just goes to show that they are always listening :-)

Kelsey Quote
Keegan was writing a list of people who are playing different characters in the play. She asked, "Who is the beast?"
Kelsey answered, " I don't know his name. Just put, 'Blond boy.'"

Keegan Quote
Sorry it's a repeat if you're on FB, but this was sooooooo funny ;-)
I know. I'm easily amused.
But I have a good time!
Keegan knows these lyrics, but accidentally sang the wrong word.
Singing, "Dancing queen, feel the beat of the tangerine"
LOL!!!!

Keegan quote
Telling why she feels Gaston (the chauvinist pig in Beauty and the Beast) is rude when he tells some people, "Please let me through,"...
"Although he says, 'please,' he is very commanding!"
She is sooo right -lol!

Slumber party, part 2
Hmmm, evidently I posted that last post when I was trying to save it as a draft. Oh, well. It was getting pretty long anyway. Here are the couple of activities I hadn't added yet when it posted :) Keegan's slumber party, part 2!!!!
First, we tie dyed t-shirts (with raincoats to protect their clothes)
The shirts turned out really cute! If the colors stay this bright, I'll be a walking ad for Tulip brand tie dye :-)
Accordion style folding
Kelsey is so happy with her shirt. It shows :-).
Bull's eye pattern
And marble pattern
The girls also made things with pipe cleaners (no pictures - I know you are shocked) and drew faces on balloons that I had glued eye on to. Those all turned out really cute, too. And it was fun to see the different personalities the girls gave their balloons! I love seeing kids' creativity!!!!
I guess that's it for party pictures. See you next time :-)
